Sydney Superyacht Marina

M-TECH Marine Technologies in conjunction with SMC Marine have completed another stage of the continuing redevelopment of the Sydney Superyacht Marina.

The facility was built to accommodate visiting yachts to Sydney for the 2000 Olympic Games. Sydney Superyacht Marina has rightfully earned a reputation within the industry as the essential location to berth while visiting the region.

As the largest dedicated Superyacht berthing facility in the Southern Hemisphere, Sydney Superyacht Marina provides an exceptional standard of service, logistical support and is viewed as the only option in Sydney Harbour for vessels 15 to 70 metres.

The marina is currently undergoing a thirty-million-dollar redevelopment of approximately 6880m2.

M-Tech were proud to supply their multi-award winning XL Service Pedestal for the project. The XL range has undergone continued development over the past 40 years and is by far the service pedestal of choice for marine applications.

Our scope of works for this project was quite diverse. Each pedestal needed to be equipped with:
>Supply capabilities of 15 amps’ single phase to 125 amps three phase
>¾” Australian standard and watermarked water taps managed by NMI
>Pattern Approved IEC 62053-21 Class 1 meters and water meters with the standard RS485 port
>Modbus RTU protocol, a vital component of an intelligent, multifunction monitoring solution for any energy management systems.

All of the M-Tech team would like to thank both SMC and Sydney Superyacht Marina manager Mr Clemens Overdijk for their continued support of the M-Tech range of marina service equipment.
